To render or not to render

That IS the question. 2-3 weeks ago we received a call to book in our external colour consultation. Now this came as quite a shock as we haven’t finalised any plans yet
however we were informed we needed to sort out all external colours of the house so it could be submitted to the Shire with our final plans and be assessed for the 6 star energy rating. They also need to know what flooring we intend to use also and they would like to meet with us in a week or two. They offered to do the consult over the phone however I advised we didn’t even know if we wanted a render or full brick house, she agreed we should meet in Perth. So annual leave was submitted and a small fortune was handed out for flights to Perth in two weeks time for two nights. We are already jam packed busy and I have marked on Google maps (yes, I'm a Monica) all the DA display home locations, written out all their features we are interested in, booked in a visit to the Home Base Expo and have a confirmed meeting at DA Central three hours before our flight home! Phew – I'm already tired.
